Review: I have several of these units, some dating back over 10 years. The new ones have an improved system to lock the shelf (you can feel the snap) into place. They are very strong and dependable. We have 8 shelves on our units and they easily handle big heavy boxes of papers.

Review: I recently moved and never realized how much I would miss my under the stairs IVAR shelving. It is a versatile storage solution and can be customized to fit any area. I love that the 12 shelf system has options such as wine bottle holders. I appreciate that the shelves can be close together and far apart.

Upon moving, we have a wonderful storage but the shelves were all equal distance apart and not adjustable. Within a month of moving in, we have removed those shelves and are in the process of outfitting the space with the 20 deep shelves. I look forward to efficient use of our space with an easy to use and put together system!

Review: This was a pain to assemble but once I got it assembled it has been very sturdy.
The first set of shelves is completely unstable until you put the bracket on the back, and making sure that it is square while you do that is tricky. I definitely recommend having at least 2-3 people for this part. Adding more sets of shelves to the first is easier and can be done with 1-2 people. The last thing to note is that you are planning to build a long set like I did (6 sets), you can't mount any to the wall until the entire thing is built because you won't be able to get the brackets on the back if trying to build it right up against a wall.

Review: I like the product indelible and how easily it goes together and how it can be modified to fit my situation. I had a couple of issues with the shelves. The side brackets on the shelf has little tabs that are used to secure the bracket onto the wood. I had 3 shelves different product numbers that had these little tabs that are supposed to be sunk into the wood completely folded under themselves. When I slightly grabbed the shelves to install the the bracket simply fell off. I didn’t want to have to wait for replacement shelves so I had to pry the tabs to open them and tap the bracket tabs into the wood as they should have been.
