The chair is easy to store when not in use, since you can stack up to 6 chairs on top of each other.
The eucalyptus slats have grain variations and natural color shifts that give the furniture a warm and natural look.
You can make your chair more comfortable and personal by adding a chair pad in a style you like.
For added durability and so you can enjoy the natural expression of the wood, the furniture has been pre-treated with several layers of semi-transparent wood stain.
The frame is made of rust-proof aluminum which makes it sturdy, lightweight, and maintenance free.

CareThe best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary, and re-staining it on a regular basis.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.

A bit tricky assembling. I had to redo it because I was overconfident and didn't follow the instructions. The correct side matters.

Review: This is a nice chair and not too difficult to build. The caps that go on the tops of the back tubes are badly designed however. Not one — out of eight — went into the the tube snugly and securely. A small tab broke off each one and they just fit loosely. I had to seal them with silicone.

Review: Once assembled the chairs were sturdy and attractive. However, it was time consuming. There were two problems -- the difficulty in having the bolt that attaches the arm to the side and socket,-- the plastic caps on top need a better prong to hold in position.

Review: Once assembled this was a wide comfortable chair. However, after buying Ikea products for over 50 years I can say that this was the most difficult assemble. There were two areas of concern. The first, was the bolt that attached the arm to the side of the chair...it was difficult to grasp the socket. The second, was the plastic caps prongs on top of the chair. They needed to be longer to stay in place.

We called customer service and will have to superglue. It will look fine, but I do not recommend these given the low quality. The matching bench also had a defective bolt. There’s some quality control on this model; I do not recommend.
