Review: My husband and I recently moved to a smaller place and needed a smaller table for the smaller space. We liked the white Melltorp tabletop with the Melltorp legs as the table is visually light and was fairly inexpensive. I was nervous about staining with getting a white tabletop; however, the tabletop surface is easy to clean and has yet to show any stains after three months of daily use. We typically use placemats under our dishes when eating' but, the times we have had spills/food droplets fall on the white surface they have clean up easily.

Review: The table is wonderful. Very sturdy and very solid. The only downside was it is a nightmare to put together. I literally needed to hold it in three different places in three different ways in order to put one screw and that would hold the table in the legs together. It did not recommend having two people and it really should.

Review: We bought a few of these tables. The initial assembly was fine, until it was time to attach the legs. The way the screws have to go in to leg/sidebar positioning is nearly impossible. It has to be just so, or else the screws won't catch. This is maddening. I have put together countless pieces of Ikea furniture throughout my life but this was by far the worst EVER. I would pay an extra $30 for this table to make the assembly easier.

Review: The table came with an essentially useless wrench that couldn't fit in the tight corners. Luckily, I had a ratchet set, and found a perfectly fitting ratchet. The instructions had a picture of a hand tossing the wrench in a trash can, which I indeed did.
