Review: I was at my local IKEA with a friend last weekend, and wasn't planing on purchasing anything but I should have known better! We were in the kitchenwares section when the GLADELIG deep plate/bowl jumped up and said Look at me!. The design is timeless, the color pattern is calming, and in typical IKEA fashion, the price is right. These bowls are my go-to in the kitchen right now and I hope the rest of the series comes back in stock so I can get the rest of the GALDELIG line!

Review: Gladelig is just the style I was looking for. Modern, relaxed, yet elegant in its simplicity. I love that there is variation in the glaze color on the edges. The shapes and sizes of the plates work really well for everyday meals. I bought fewer of the oval plates to begin with, but I'm going back a third time to buy more. Love this tableware! Ikea saved the day again.

Coloring varies slight for each, but gives it a bit of charm as they don't look and feel like they were mass produced. Good sturdy bowls that have held up in the dishwasher so far.

Review: Unlike many plates and bowels at ikea, this series doesn’t look cheap!!! In fact, they look much more expensive than the price. They have a tasteful look of good craftsmanship, with beautiful color and some thickness, and each piece is unique. It comes handy for different types of food, especially with the perfect depth for a dish with sauce and dressing. It is microwaveable and dishwasher safe. I really wish this series comes in a deeper bowel, too for some noodle soup. I have the larger bowels of this series as well but they are too small for a soup. Anyways I love them and got 2 sets for my family of 5. I hope IKEA continues with this series because I’m coming back in case they break.
