Sustainability & environment
By using renewable materials like cellulose and cotton fibers in this product, we avoid using fossil or finite materials.
Lyocell is a cellulose fiber made of wood. Wood is a renewable material and needs less water, pesticides and artificial fertilizers to grow than, for example, cotton.
Non-chlorine bleach.
Lyocell is produced in a closed process. Most of the added substances are recycled or reused, which is part of our ambition to reduce our environmental impact.
We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways.
The cotton in this product is grown with less water, less chemical fertilizers and less chemical pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. That way, we lower our environmental impact.

Review: This duvet cover and pillow case have both been very comfortable to sleep in, even in Summer.
There has been no pilling after several washes and months of use. The materials feels softer after washes too.
The natural materials are a must with products you sleep on - synthetic materials often cause allergies and skin irritations that we are not aware of.
Although IKEA generally is not a top sustainable company, this item is a decent start and still reasonably affordable budget pick compared to much more costly options that may not even be sustainably produced.

Review: These sheets are amazing. Like sleeping in a hotel every night. Seriously. They are extremely cooling and has elevated my sleeping experience tremendously. I also have the ikea canopy bed and one of the ikea duvets (forget the names of both). Heaven. Oh, and I replaced all my pillows with ikea pillows, two of them being the KLUBBESPORRE, so good.

Review: I bought two sets of this duvet cover in a King size. They were very soft and light-weight. I thought for sure they would be the best. When I went to put either one on my King-sized comforter, the size was way too small. I had a good 6-8 inches extra of comforter on each side. The duvet cover did not ever come down the sides of the King-sized mattress. It just laid on top. Just beware that, for a King, their sizing is more like a Queen.. which makes me wonder how small a Queen size would be.
