Comfortable to sit in thanks to pocket springs that follow your body and a top layer of ball fiber – and comfortable to sleep on thanks to a thick foam mattress on the slatted bed base.
DJUPARP cover is made of velvet which, through a traditional weaving technique gives the fabric a warm, deep color and a soft surface with a dense pile and light, reflective shine.
The velvet is woven from viscose and polyester, which makes it durable.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.
The sofa quickly and easily transforms into a bed for two. All you need to do is remove the back cushions and seat pad and pull the handle underneath ‒ the bed and mattress then fold out.
You sleep well on the 4¾ thick and comfortable foam mattress that has the same resilient qualities as a bed mattress and has a smooth sleeping surface without disturbing joints.
The mattress is easy to keep clean since you can remove the mattress cover and machine wash it.

Good to know
The velvet reflects light in a characteristic way which may make the color appear as if it changes.
Small fibers may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a lint roller.
Press marks that may appear on the velvet usually disappear in time. With your hand, you can gently stroke in the direction of the pile or use a clothes brush. You can also use the vacuum cleaner with the soft nozzle.

Review: Anyone who says this is comfortable is clearly being paid to write a review. It looks nice, awesome that slipcover is washable and you can change up the look. It’s very firm, not soft at all. A mattress pad fixes this for pullout bed and makes it fine. Otherwise, not a couch you’ll want to lounge on too long.

Review: As far as Ikea furniture goes, this was very easy to assemble - almost everything could be done with 1 person. Much of the couch comes pre-assembled, which is pretty rare for Ikea! I love the way it pulls out (unique compared to how other sleeper couches work, and easy for 1 person to do), and we have had a lot of people sleep on the mattress and say that it's actually very comfortable! Even though the measurements are slightly off from an American Queen mattress, queen bedding fits just perfectly. Buy this one, the extra money is worth it for the comfort!
