Review: Biggest weakness in this is the bottom and how close some of the holes for assembly are to the sides of the bench.
When assembling one of the pieces broke out a bit, not due to neglect or lack of carful work, but because the design created a slender and weak portion of a piece.
The bottom design and structure is especially weak, so it is of some concern for a storage bench. I worry that anything more dense than pillows (i.e. filled with blankets) will quickly bow out the bottom causing it to fail.

Review: During assembly discovered the screws to attach lid are not long enough to complete assembly. Had to go to hardware store to find appropriate screws to be able to attach lid. Final product is spacious enough to hold a king comforter and several blankets. Comfortable to sit on as well.

Review: Sturdy, love the color and holds more than I thought it would. The gray material slips down on the bench and velcros along the bottom and inside edge. Wasn't sure about that but it's a nice tight fit and the velcro is super strong. Love it!
