The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use. -

Review: I bought a set of Soderhamn sofa a few years ago and was very happy with the design and flexibility of the series. I recently purchased 2 of the corner sections in dark grey color to make a small couch in another room and was disappointed how different they are now compared to before. The cushions are much flatter, leaving quite some empty space in the cushion cases. (The cushions in their showroom still had similar fullness to the ones I bought before.) The quality of the cover fabric changed to a rougher and stiffer texture. The color is also much more faded than shown in the images. It is too late to regret for me now as I had already paid $69 for the home delivery and the couch won't fit into my car if I want to drive them back to the stores to return. I'm sad that they got more expensive but less quality over the past few years.

Review: The cover we purchased was called gray. However, it’s more of a dusty blueish teal. We really needed gray. So it was returned, unopened. I appreciate the fact that IKEA had a window in the packaging. It just didn’t match the wall paint color.
