Review: The color is nice, but the fabric feels very cheap and becomes filthy if you even think about touching it. Has to be washed constantly. Luckily it doesn't cost much- because it isn't worth much. I love the Karlstad sofa and wanted to love the cover, but I just can't. If Ikea is interested in making more money, they should make more covers for this sofa! I'd pay A LOT more for a better quality cover (like the Ektorp covers!!) PLEASE!!

Review: I have had my Karlstad 3 seat sofa and two chairs (which I have now combined into a loveseat) for at least 8 years. I originally had the white covers which I took apart to use as pattern pieces and have made 2 sets of covers and working on a third, as well as buying 3 sets from IKEA when they still carried covers (lime green, charcoal grey and light grey) and three covers purchased from Cover Couch (UK) - they have an excellent selection and the prices are reasonable (for those of you who lament about not being able to change décor). Review: any snags result in little black loops, the cover itself is light gray but the underweaving is black and results in a horrible appearance if any slight cat scratch/pill occurs. Other than that its a great replacment cover for the price.

Review: I've had my Karlstad sofa for 4 years and, structurally, it's still in great shape, but I do need to replace the cover because it's starting to show some wear. I don't think it's fair to long-time loyal customers that this new shade of grey is now the only available option. Many of us got the sofa in Blekinge White or Isunda Grey and would like to keep it that way. Please bring back the old colors or introduce new fabrics with similar colors! I originally got a Blekinge White sofa so I won't buy this grey cover (or any of the other sofas available in white because I don't like the design as much as the Karlstad). It's ridiculous that if I want to refresh the look of my sofa, I have to shell out $200 on eBay for an original discontinued cover or $300+ for a custom cover from Bemz or similar companies. Why is Ikea losing business to these companies when you could introduce more covers at a more affordable price that customers would be happy to buy time and time again when they need to revamp their couches?

Review: I own and love my Karlstad - I bought it about 6 years ago. There wasn't any indication in IKEA's site that they changed the measurements for the couch, but this cover is clearly too big for mine. The side arms are ok, but the back and the cushions are way too big. I really wish I knew that before I bought and paid for delivery. I'll have to make due by altering and sewing the cushion covers myself.

Review: We love this couch and covers. With 5 kids they put a beating on them. Our other couch doesn't have covers you can replace and we'll never go back to that design! Being able to change the look of the room, take them off to clean, or replace if they get ripped up is great!
