SEGLORA cover is made of aniline leather which is the finest type of leather of the highest quality. As it ages, it becomes softer and gets a darker tone and fine patina.
Aniline leather has an unaltered surface that is treated with just a thin, protective coating. This gives it great breathability while retaining its natural look with marks that make each cover unique.
The seat and back cushions provide comfortable support for your body and easily regain their shape because they’re filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibers.

Good to know
The leather on this sofa will become softer and acquire a darker tone with time. This is natural for full-grain leather, which is treated with only a light surface coating for protection.
Due to its unaltered surface, aniline leather can have natural marks like wrinkles and scars, color variations and be more sensitive to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with full coatings.
Proper care keeps the aniline leather in top condition. Use the soft brush attachment on your vacuum and, if needed, wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth.

Review: I saw this sofa in the Burbank CA showroom on Saturday, sat in it for 15 minutes, and bought it online the next day. It was delivered on Wednesday. However, after assembly, it began filling up the house with VOCs (volatile organic compounds), irritating my eyes, throat, causing a headache, etc. This is not typical new furniture smell that I've dealt with in the past. It became so bad that I had to ask a neighbor to help me carry it outside to the deck the next day.
None of the other reviews here mention this problem, so I'm wondering whether this is a one-off, or whether the fumes will dissipate within a reasonable amount of time.
Customer service got back to me and is contacting the manufacturer to get these basic questions answered to help me decide the next course of action: wait?, return?, exchange?

Review: Have had this couch for about 10 months and the seat cushions are peeling already. I have yet to get a response from IKEA, but it doesn’t seem like very high quality for an expensive couch to already be showing extreme signs of wear. Love everything else about the couch but wish IKEA would replace the bottom two cushions that are already peeling.

They are just a little bit too small to cover the white material behind them and when it shows through it appears cheap. I would have gladly spent another $500 for a little more leather on the couch and slightly larger back cushions (wider) so this wasn’t such an issue.

Review: We have been dreaming of this couch since viewing it in the showroom. I ordered it and it took a week to arrive by a shipping company - none were available at our warehouse. The freight company delivered it to our front porch. The packing was perfect and the couch was fully protected and enclosed in a zipped fabric bag - wonderful for packing up and moving at some time in the future. Each cushion was enclosed in a heavy plastic bag and the only assembly was to screw in the four heavy cast aluminum legs. The couch is full grain leather with stylish topstitching. The cushions are firm, and we like it that way. With the back cushions removed, this would be a very comfortable place for a single guest to spend the night. I only wish there were companion side chairs!! I am thinking of purchasing another one of these because I have not found a better quality full-grain leather couch for the price.

Review: The leather on this sofa really is nice, full-grain and should last many years if you take care of it; everything is full-grain, including the non-seating surfaces and back of sofa. The underside of the cushions are a thick fabric, but unless you remove the cushions these areas aren’t visible. The frame is also very sturdy, no creaks or signs of weakness with 2 adults sitting on it; should last quite some time, especially with the 10-year warranty. The legs are metal and screw into metal mounts under the sofa, very sturdy and also removable if needed. The entire sofa came in a large zip-up fabric bag, which I recommend saving in the event you move to protect the leather. It seams the price has gone up $200 since I purchased this in 2017, but I’d buy again. As for the comfort (some have said it isn’t comfortable), you have to set your expectations based on the style of sofa. This is definitely more of a “chic” design and it is comfortable to sit on, and lounge on if you have pillows. If you plan on jumping through the air to land on the cushion and expect to sink into a soft plush sofa, look elsewhere.
