Bottom is hollow with rubber legs on four corners.
There's a plastic bottle inside that's lifted up by the metal top. When screwing on the top, you have to hold the plastic up into the hole on top to screw in the top. Other than that, it's pretty good

Review: this soap bottle looks nice but also is so easy to use. I wanted something nicer looking for the bathroom. This looks and works so great. Its a bamboo box over a plastic bottle plus it has little plastic feet (that can't be seen) so the bamboo isn't sitting in water or soap on occasion!

Review: I bought this because it's an attractive soap dispensor and matches other decor in my home. However the nozzle on this is the most infuriating thing I have ever used. It constantly gets stuck and then shoots out soap directly forward and not at all downward. I have gotten myself and my walls covered in soap do to this dispensor. I wish there was a way to just change the nozzle since I think it is otherwise lovely.

I live in Argentina, I only get to buy at Ikea when I travel (and I really look forward to it, although branches are usually far from where I stay, I go on purpose as I love Ikea!!). I am a market researcher and everyday, when I use this product I think... I should recommend Ikea to have a space for customers' feedback. Why? I don't know if it is the kind of soap I use, but it always comes out too sharply or straight forward and it gets more in my clothes than in my hands. Sometimes I wish I had chosen another model. Thanks!
