Review: I've had these about 2 months now and while I love the look and the color, the adhesive used to hold the seam together at the bottom is not satisfactory. I have bought and hung 6 of these and have had various ones actually have the clear plastic brace insert fall out of them because the adhesive used to keep the bottom edge/seam intact keeps failing. I will have to take them down and apply some type of adhesive to this area that will actually work as the ineffective adhesive was supposed to do.

Bottom and top end of shades stuck together with some kind of sticky tape that does not hold. The brakes are very lightweight plastic so May break if not handled with the gentlest of touch. The same shades I bought from IKEA several years ago were of much better quality

Review: Our property is east facing and we have to either keep the curtains drawn until noon and live in a cave or open the drapes and get blinded until around noon. These were easy to install in our five windows. The mechanism works so well to softly retract. It stops the direct and harsh light but gives soft warm light. You can see the outline of the scenes outside- our deck railing, trees, lake and even mountains. Would highly recommend. As this is our cabin on the mountain at the lake we’re not worried about privacy.
