Review: This is a sturdy and attractive reading floor lamp. It assembles easily and sits securely on any floor surface. And the provided LED bulb is bright and useful. My concern is with the on-off/dimmer switch. The switch is located under the round lamp housing, next to the LED itself. It's in the form of a button, which controls both the on-off function and - supposedly the dimmer. On-off is ok, if a bit touchy. But the dimmer function is a complete failure. Based on the very sketchy instructions, the user must move a finger around the edge of the switch button to dim or increase. Exactly where or how is unclear, and might be clarified by a few words - which are apparently not allowed by Ikea rules. As a result, trying to dim the lamp results in turning it off. Many attempts, no results. My suggestions: provide a functional. touch-friendly on-off switch and dim in some other way. It's a very bright light, and dimming is desirable, but not like this. I returned the lamp because it didn't function as described.
