Review: Poang is a Iconic item. I have spent $$$$ on Poang w/ Leather Cushions. Own 8 ... 4 from 5 yrs ago (not the same quality or comfort). Let corporate know and change the manufacturing quality!
* Chair Cushion is 2 LESS Cushion Depth than 5 yrs ago. Thin for the price. I can feel the wood frame in my back.
* Leather material is now cheaply made and perhaps a fake PU of Poor quality, pinch and twist to see. Hard, easily torn, no durability.
* These are uncomfortable. I cannot sit on them for a long period (skinny person).
* Feels flat, hard, cheap. Not the case 5 years ago - my family loves to use and fall asleep in.
* Stitching in the mid lumbar region is terrible it hurts, wrong place. IF you want to offer support don't put a painful seam and stitches there (add padding).
* Other reviews state the same thing about comfort and quality
* We have NO OTHER leather choice for poang till you IMPROVE!
* I would pay for thicker padding & memory foam or latex - much needed.

Only problem was there was no matching cushion for the ottoman, so we had to make another trip back to Ikea and we live about 75 miles away

Review: Purchased with size of space, comfort, light weight and style in mind. The brown leather fits all criteria. Purchased with ottoman, very easy to assemble. Disappointed that the head piece separates from the bottom cover section, thus it does not appear as shown. Still keeping as it met primary criteria, separation is not uncomfortable - just from appearance it appears as a poor fit. Purchasing experience for the chair was very poor. Each cloth cushion sample on display was either not in stock, Ikea associate didn't know if it was discontinued, go to bin - none there or one not two available (wanted two matching chairs). After a long drawn out process, the only choice was to purchase the leather which was way above my budget purchase price.
