Review: The kivik looks great in my space and was not too difficult to put together but definitely a 2+ person job. The price is good but it’s not the most comfortable couch (very firm). The arm rest being low looks nice but isn’t super functional because now it lacks for someone to lean against.
Also had a lot of trouble with the delivery of this couch. The covers were missing. It took 3+ weeks to get the covers and many calls to customer service. That experience was very disappointing. I mostly likely will never order delivery from ikea again because of how poor the customer service was.

I also love that the covers are completely removeable for cleaning and if we decide we want a different color down the road we can just change out the covers.

Review: I wanted a modern, chic sofa to fit into my mid-century modern styled home but I have a kid and 3 cats and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. The Kivik fit the bill perfectly. It looks amazing and the beige color is the perfect shade. As far as comfort, we have all napped on it several times, including the aforementioned cats who will spend all day on it. It's firm but not uncomfortably so and the size has plenty of room for us to all lounge while not being on top of each other. Putting it together did take a few hours, I was able to build most of it on my own and my husband helped with the last bit. The fabric has been snagged from cat claws here and there but I have a feeling that would be with any couch. Overall for the price, it's a great deal and a beautiful sofa!
