Review: We loved the look of this light but discovered that the on off switch for this picture light would go directly behind the picture we were trying to illuminate and therefore interfer by making the picture bulge out from the wall. We ended up returning it and getting a different one with the on off switch built directly in the base.

Review: I bought this a year-or-so ago. If I had looked at the catalog photo here, I never would have done so. Bought a different one sometime earlier that was lighter, less clunky and lit the picture much better. Can't believe they dropped that one and introduced this one. The problem is that the on/off switch is located about a foot down from the fixture. Therefore, it sits behind (!) the picture. Ridiculous. Thus to turn it off, we have to crawl down and unplug it.
