Laminate countertops are very durable and easy to maintain. With a little care, they stay like new for many years.
You can cut the countertop to the length you want and cover the edges with the 2 included edging strips.

Good to know
Even though laminate is a durable material you should never place hot pots or pans directly on the countertop without a trivet or pot stand.
Not suitable for use in damp rooms.

Materials & care
Material
Particleboard, Laminate
CareWipe clean with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild dish detergent or soap, if necessary.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Do not place a toaster, coffee maker, kettle or other kitchen appliances that emit heat directly over a seam between two countertops because the heat can damage the seam.
To prevent permanent stains on the countertop, wipe clean spills or messes immediately with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild washing-up detergent or soap.

Supporting legs are required when an overhang exceeds 10. The maximum distance between these legs should not be more than 32. -

By using sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle board in this product, we make use of whole trees and not only the trunks. That way, we take better care of resources.

Review: I wish I had purchased the other version that was a little thicker. Since I am only renting it was value for money. I had to cut this down then take it to the Hardware store to do the milling and it chipped a little on the edges. Then I installed it over a wall cabinet that I made into a floor cabinet. Value for money I paid. Wouldn't use it if it was my Kitchen that I was renovating.

Review: I bought this countertop to use as a desktop with two Alex Drawers on either end. The particleboard made it very easy to attach all my computer components underneath the countertop to clear up space on top. The ease of cleaning the top after a coffee spill reminded me of why I bought this. The coffee wiped up without leaving a stain.

Review: Boxing - very little protection of the countertop while in box, resulting in many damaged product before leaving the store. I bought 2 and didn't think to much of it, but when I got home, there were two very large dents on the edge side of the countertop, luckily, I was able to salvage it due to needing to cut 1 into two pieces. But I had to drive back to Ikea (30-40 miles away) to get an replacement for 1. At the store, they had to bring 3 to the will call area because each one they brought had damages. Product - The laminate has a texture to it which makes it easy to get dirty. Cutting it with a miter saw worked fine. I wish that over the mdf, they used a hard type of wood to make it a stronger product.
