Review title: Space saving ptrap for standard sinks as well

Review: Our drain height was interfering with the shelf in our new vanity and this saved the day. Couple things to know. 1. You can install this on a standard sink drain with the overflow built into the sink. 2. Fits 1 1/2 stub into the wall although it did seem slightly loose (we used a different heavy duty ptrap piece). If you have 1 1/4 inside diameter from the wall you'll need adapters. 3. It comes with the drain ring in chrome but not the strainer you stick into it. You have to buy an ikea chrome faucet with strainer to get the strainer, not sold separately (probably comes with ikea sink too). There are other color faucets ikea has but not all come with a strainer (matte black is missing from the line up). Hope this helps as I had to make a trip to the store to figure it all out.

Review: I do like this design for sink plumbing. I just wish it was more flexible to adjust. My bathroom pipes were slightly off a couple inches and had to kind of slant it to make it work. I’m not a plumber and this is very easy to install.

Review: One Rannilen kit was included in my Odensvik sink and I bought one separately in the store. Neither kit contains the parts for the overflow. Lengthy call with Customer Service. Parts 10046279, 10044931 and 10044930 do not exist.

Review: This drain requires a proprietary stopper that only comes with an Ikea sink. I installed this drain on a non-Ikea sink and it works great, but does not have a drain stopper. It doesn't appear that Ikea sells the stopper separately as it is not on their web site. My calls to Ikea were a waste of time. I have emailed and not received a response about how to acquire a stopper. Their only help was to suggest that I drive 80 miles to the nearest store and ask if they sell a stopper with no guarantee that they do in fact sell them.
