Review: Please check your measurements, I have bought 5 Nordli KING bed frames before and I LOVE them, the king bed frame width is 76 which is PERFECT for king wide mattress which is also 76 standard width. HOWEVER, when I assembled the Nordli Queen bed frame and put a regular 60 width mattress, I saw that the Queen mattress is Too narrow and there is a space on each side of the frame, which is sharp wooden edge, because for some reason Nordli Queen frame is 63 wide, WHY? I have no idea, why a king frame would be made perfect for a king size mattress and queen frame would be wider than the mattress?

Review: Overall, it's a solid bed, with drawers that are easy to open and, surprisingly, closes by itself when pushed to the last inch or so.
Allow a lot of time to assemble. I took it in stages across a few days. It may prove exasperating and tiring if done in a single day. Having built previous IKEA furniture definitely helps.
Be sure to look carefully at the drawings and dry-fit everything before proceeding. Words would have helped tremendously - not you won't find any.
Be aware that there are TWO instruction booklets. They are in different boxes. Do not lose the allen wrench! You'll need a second person to help you in some sections. Use of a dead blow mallet helps.
Overall, everything fit and I felt it was a worthwhile, although wearing, endeavor.

Review: The best thing about this bed for us is its height. It is shorter than our other platform bed, and with the height of our new mattress it keeps my feet on the floor while sitting on the edge. Just don't make a mistake putting it together, the locking mechanism for the pieces is incredibly hard to get out.

Review title: A Nightmare to Assemble Due to Poor Manufacturing

Review: This bed frame comes in 5 packages and each package is really heavy. A fellow shopper at my local Ikea helped me get each of the 5 boxes onto a cart. During checkout, I made sure that each of the 5 boxes was a Queen size in white. While loading each of the boxes into my SUV (not easy), I thought about loading them back onto the cart and returning it. I now regret not doing so. I spent 12 hours (yes, 12) on a Sunday assembling it. Why 12? Because a few pieces were defective (chipped or warped) and a few other pieces did not have holes drilled in the correct places. This made assembly a huge burden and headache. After all of the effort, it certainly does not look nice and neat like the picture because if one thing is off by a millimeter or if a part is defective, the entire bed (edges) do not line up). Also, the drawers do not open and close nicely at all. I hate this bed frame and regret purchasing it. I'd return it if I could. The effort to build it is not worth it.

Review title: Sturdy/Solid but frustrating flaw in instructions

Review: This bed is great! It's solid and well-built with thick pieces of wood and the frame is reinforced all around. Though building had some snags. Wife and I made it in about 4 hours, but ran into two things to watch out for: (1) When building the top part of the frame, you'll be adding the left and right boards make sure the boards overhang on the outside of the bed, otherwise it'd overhang in the center and cause problems with the rest of the construction. (2) There's a part where the top part of the frame's head and foot boards fit between the aforementioned left and right boards. This won't fit! The head and foot boards are slightly too wide to even force into place. We had to take one of the side boards off, put the head and foot board on, and then placed the side board back on and that was still difficult (though possible, unlike the instructions way). I read one reviewer say they had to saw some boards, I think this was what their snag was as well.
